Hayley 24/7 Becomes UK’s First SKF-Certified Gearbox Rebuilder

SKF, a market leader in the manufacture of bearings, seals, and engineering solutions has chosen Hayley 24/7 as their first ever certified gearbox rebuilder for the UK, at its sites in Dudley and King’s Lynn.

In order to gain accreditation from SKF, Hayley 24/7 repair facilities had to satisfy a set of stringent criteria in order to meet the high work processes and specifications required. Staff have also undergone additional training as part of the program, upskilling in areas such as root cause failure analysis and condition monitoring. The highly experienced Hayley 24/7 team are delighted that their hard-work in continually improving the reliability and lifespan of gearboxes passing through their facilities, has been officially recognised.

This recognition will continue to strengthen and develop the close working partnership between SKF and Hayley Group in the UK. The teams at both Hayley 24/7 engineering centres can now benefit from access to the very latest SKF product innovations, the highest quality tools and equipment, and the specialist bearing and engineering expertise of SKF. As part of the certification program, the repair centres will now be regularly audited to ensure that strict SKF specifications and exacting quality standards are being met with every job. The audits will also report on the cleanliness, orderliness, and environmental responsibility of the respective facilities.
